Autoworld unveils the ultimate Mercedes expo
Autoworld closes out the year once again with a showstopper. From 19 December 2025 to 22 February 2026, the Brussels car museum immerses visitors in ‘Mercedes, The Story of the Star’, an exceptional exhibition bringing together 140 years of Mercedes-Benz in a single story. From the very first Benz of 1886 to the hyper-modern AMG ONE: this is a unique chance to experience the full DNA of the Stuttgart brand up close.
A milestone year for Mercedes-Benz
2026 marks not only the 140th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz, but also 100 years of Daimler-Benz. The merger of the two pioneers united the three-pointed star, symbol of land, sea and air, with Benz's laurel wreath. The start of a brand that became synonymous worldwide with quality, prestige and technological progress.
The exhibition brings that heritage to life with more than 50 iconic models, carefully presented in themed zones showing the many faces of Mercedes-Benz: luxury, innovation, motorsport, elegance and pure performance.
The absolute highlights, and there are plenty
The heritage that defined the brand
Benz Velo (1886), the founder of the automobile.
540 K Cabriolet, timeless grandeur and craftsmanship.
300 SL ‘Gullwing’, perhaps the most iconic Mercedes ever.
Innovation as a common thread
260 D, the world's first series-production diesel car.
Technological firsts around safety, comfort and efficiency.
Concepts that shaped the brand's future.
Motorsport: silver, speed and sensations
Silver Arrow, a living legend from racing.
Lewis Hamilton's F1 car, modern Formula 1 history.
300 SEL 6.8 ‘Rote Sau’, the roaring underdog that became iconic.
Sauber-Mercedes C9, Le Mans winner and symbol of both efficiency and brute speed.
Luxury & supercars
From the stately S-Class and elegant SL models to an almost surreal supercar line-up:
300 SL ‘Gullwing’
CLK GTR
SLS AMG Black Series
AMG ONE, Mercedes' ultimate technology transfer from the F1 circuit to the public road
This is the first time so many top-tier pieces from different countries can be seen together in Belgium, and that alone makes the exhibition unique.
Made possible by exceptional collaborations
The exhibition was realised by Autoworld in collaboration with:
Mercedes-Benz Belgium Luxembourg
Mercedes-Benz Museum Stuttgart
Loh Museum (DE)
SAGA Classic (FR)
Private collections from Belgium and beyond
The result is a line-up you would normally only expect to find in Stuttgart itself.
More than an exhibition: an experience for young and old
Mercedes fans can also enjoy extra activities:
Kids Zone
During weekends and holidays, children can:
build their own Mercedes models with LEGO
draw
see their creations come to life digitally
Grand Mercedes Cars & Coffee on 22 February 2026
The exhibition closes with a massive Cars & Coffee on the Autoworld Esplanade. A festive finale for enthusiasts, collectors and owners.
