Hedin Automotive introduces NIO and firefly at the Brussels Motor Show 2026
During the Brussels Motor Show 2026 (9–18 January), Belgium gets to know two new electric players. Hedin Automotive, official importer of several international car brands, is using the show to officially introduce NIO and firefly to the Belgian public.
The iconic motor show at Brussels Motor Show thus provides the stage for a clear statement: electric mobility has come of age, versatile and emotional alike.
NIO and firefly in Hall 7: premium and urban EVs
In Hall 7, NIO shows up with an extensive line-up that perfectly illustrates what the brand stands for: premium finishing, advanced technology and a strong focus on user experience. Visitors can get to know the ET5, ET5 Touring, EL6 and EL8, models that make NIO’s vision of electric driving in the higher segment tangible.
The absolute eye-catcher is without doubt the EP9, NIO’s legendary electric hypercar. This extreme model acts as a technological flagship and shows that the brand focuses not only on comfort and connectivity, but also on pure performance and top-level engineering.
Alongside NIO, firefly is also making its Belgian debut. This fully electric, compact brand is resolutely focused on a new generation of urban mobility. Fresh, energetic and designed for everyday city life, firefly positions itself as a smart counterpart to the traditional city car, but fully electric and future-oriented.
According to Eddy Haesendonck, CEO of Hedin Automotive Benelux, the show is the ideal moment for this introduction:
“NIO and firefly represent a new generation of electric mobility, with advanced technology, distinctive design and a strong focus on user experience. We are proud to show these brands to the Belgian public for the first time.”
Corvette E-Ray in the Astrid Hall: performance with an electric twist
Hedin Automotive is not limited to electric newcomers. As the exclusive dealer of Corvette, the brand is also present in the Astrid Hall, where the Corvette E-Ray is on display.
This year, the Astrid Hall has been set up as a fully-fledged exhibition hall for the first time and also serves as the official starting point of the show visit. That means Corvette is among the first brands visitors see upon entering Brussels Expo, a strategic spot for a model that combines brute performance with electrified technology.
