Kia Seltos: more modern, more spacious and smarter than ever

This is the brand new Kia Seltos, the second generation of the model that has convinced millions of drivers worldwide, now fully reworked, sharper in design and technologically smarter than ever.

Under the motto “The Protagonist”, Kia shows what this new Seltos truly stands for: an SUV that is not just a car, but an extension of your daily life. A companion that supports you, inspires you, and invites you to be the main character of your own story.

An SUV that radiates confidence from the start

The new Seltos stands wider, more muscular and more mature on the road. The design follows Kia's Opposites United philosophy, where robustness and elegance reinforce each other:

• a bolder front end with Star Map lighting,

• flush door handles for better aerodynamics,

• a dynamic silhouette with strong shoulder lines and a floating roofline,

• and new colours such as Iceberg Green, Gravity Gray, and the striking Magma Red Matte.

X-Line and GT-Line each offer their own interpretation of style: one rugged and adventurous, the other sleek and sporty. The Seltos does not just look more modern, it behaves that way too.

An interior that feels like a smart, digital lounge

Inside, Kia opens everything up, literally and figuratively. The horizontal cockpit creates space and calm, while the new Shift-by-Wire column control frees up the centre console. The finish is noticeably more premium, and the whole thing feels like a compact SUV from a higher class.

Notable upgrades:

• Dual 12.3-inch panoramic display with dedicated climate panel

• 64-colour ambient lighting

• Harman Kardon or Bose premium audio

• Reclining rear seats with 24° adjustment

• Panoramic sunroof

The Seltos also gets Kia's latest AI Assistant, powered by generative AI, plus full OTA updates. Even Disney and NBA content can be added via the Kia Connect Store.

Engines for every market, from efficient to punchy

The new Seltos offers a broad range of engines. Most interesting: the 1.6 T-GDI turbo with 180 or 193 hp, paired with a 7-speed DCT, 8-speed automatic or manual gearbox. There is also an efficient 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine (149 hp).

The optional AWD comes with a multi-link rear axle and Terrain Modes (Snow, Mud, Sand).
Drive Modes (Eco, Normal, Sport) are standard too.

In 2026, a full hybrid Seltos will follow, with:

• Smart Regenerative Braking 3.0,

• V2L functionality,

• and an optimal balance between efficiency and everyday use.

Technology and safety you would not expect in this segment

The new Seltos takes ADAS to a higher level, featuring:

• Highway Driving Assist 2

With 536 litres of boot space, a dual-level boot floor, smart storage compartments and the Kia AddGear ecosystem (modular accessories), the Seltos targets young families, active couples and weekend travellers.

It is compact enough for the city, spacious enough for road trips, and versatile enough to switch effortlessly between both.

Global rollout from December 2025

Production starts this year in India and then rolls out to Korea, North America, Europe and China. With this new generation, Kia strengthens its position in one of the most competitive SUV segments, and takes further steps towards a more digital, more versatile future.
