Fiat Topolino Corallo: More Colour, More Fun, More Dolce Vita in the City
Sometimes a car does not need extra power to stay relevant. Sometimes colour is enough.
FIAT is launching the new Fiat Topolino Corallo, an update that might look small on paper but fits perfectly within the DNA of Europe's cutest electric city vehicle. More colour, a bigger digital screen and, above all, more personality.

Corallo: the colour you cannot ignore
The new Orange Corallo shade feels like an Italian sunset over the Mediterranean. Warm, playful, optimistic. Where the micro-EV segment often gets stuck in grey, white or black, FIAT deliberately chooses emotion instead. The Topolino stops being just a mobility solution. It becomes a lifestyle object.
Combined with the white accents at the front, the bold wheel covers and the contrasting roof, the Corallo version gets an almost aperitivo-like presence. It is cheerful without becoming loud. Retro without getting stuck in nostalgia. Anyone who prefers to keep things more discreet can still choose the iconic Verde Vita. One model, two colours. Each with its own vibe.
A bigger digital screen, even simpler to use
Alongside the new colour, the Topolino also gets a functional upgrade. The digital instrument panel grows from 3.5 inches to 5.7 inches, with a total display area of 8.3 inches.
That might sound like a detail, but in a vehicle 2.53 metres long, every centimetre makes a difference. The graphics have been simplified, legibility improved, and the interface feels lighter and friendlier. Exactly what you would expect from a vehicle that wants to reduce urban stress rather than add to it.
Market leader in Europe
The Topolino confirmed its position as number one in the European quadricycle segment in 2025 with a 20 percent market share. That success is no accident.
With its compact length of 2.53 metres, a top speed of 45 km/h and a 5.4 kWh battery delivering up to 75 kilometres of range, it is perfectly suited to city use. Charging is simply done via a standard wall socket in under four hours.
In many countries it can be driven from age 16 with an AM licence. That means it appeals not just to young drivers, but also to city dwellers looking for a second mobility solution without the complexity of a conventional car. And yes, it has free access to many ZTL zones and historic city centres where larger vehicles are kept out.
Small on the outside, surprisingly spacious on the inside
Inside, the Topolino feels bigger than it looks. The slightly offset seating position, large glass areas and minimalist finish create an open, airy feeling. It stays simple. It stays basic. But it does not feel cheap.
AutoNext Take
The Topolino is not a car for anyone who cares about 0-100 times. It is there for anyone who smiles at 30 km/h. Adding Corallo is not a marketing trick, but a strategic move. In a market where electric mobility often feels clinical and distant, FIAT brings colour and lightness back to the streetscape.
And that might be exactly what city traffic needs. More colour. More fun. Less stress.
