Xpeng P7+ comes to Europe
The European EV market gains a particularly interesting new player in early 2026. Xpeng brings the P7+, an entirely new, large electric liftback, to our shores, aiming above all to prove one thing: premium quality, performance and technology need not cost six figures.
With a length of more than five metres, charging speeds that rank among the absolute best and an equipment level that would startle even established luxury brands, the Xpeng P7+ positions itself as a bold challenger in the upper EV segment.
A new P7, but not as we know it
The original Xpeng P7 is gradually disappearing from the European stage, but the P7+ is not a simple replacement. In China, this model was developed as a roomier, more practical and even cheaper alternative to the new-generation P7. That concept is retained as it heads towards Europe.
The P7+ is a five-door liftback with frameless doors, a wheelbase of exactly three metres and an elongated, aerodynamic body that clearly targets the upper D-segment. The model recently also received a technical and visual update, with revised bumpers and a completely redesigned rear.
Two versions, one philosophy: fully loaded
Xpeng deliberately keeps the line-up simple. The P7+ comes in two fully equipped versions, without endless option lists or complex packages.
The RWD Long Range features:
rear-wheel drive
313hp and 450Nm
a 74.9kWh LFP battery
up to 530km range (WLTP)
0-100km/h in 6.2 seconds
The AWD Performance goes a step further:
four-wheel drive
a combined output of 503hp
identical battery and charging speed
0-100km/h in just 4.3 seconds
Both versions reach a top speed of 200km/h and share exactly the same luxurious equipment.
Fast charging on another level
Where the Xpeng P7+ really makes the difference is at charging. Thanks to an advanced electrical architecture, it can fast-charge at up to a remarkable 446kW. That places it at the very top of the current EV landscape and enables short charging stops that feel more like refuelling than classic electric driving.
Interior: high-tech lounge on wheels
Step inside, and it immediately becomes clear where Xpeng wants to make the difference. The P7+ is extremely richly equipped as standard, regardless of the drivetrain chosen.
Think of:
electrically adjustable, heated and ventilated seats
massage function front and rear
nappa leather upholstery
ambient lighting with 256 colours
20-inch alloy wheels
audio system with 20 speakers
a separate 8-inch screen for rear passengers
The digital ecosystem is at least as impressive, with a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a large head-up display and an AI platform with up to 750 TOPS of computing power. The latter is intended to form the basis for advanced assistance systems and future software updates.
Space and practicality
The P7+ also scores well on practicality. Boot space measures 573 litres, and with the rear seats folded down that grows to 1,931 litres. This makes it perfectly suited as a daily family car, a high-mileage business vehicle, or a comfortable long-distance EV.
