The updated Zeekr 001 is no facelift, but a statement. Three years after its debut, and more than 160,000 delivered examples later, the iconic shooting brake returns with even more speed, even more intelligence and a technology package that pushes the boundaries of the electric D-segment. This is a hyper-EV that seats five but performs as if it came from another class.
Design and character: the shooting brake that became an electric icon
Where many electric cars are starting to look interchangeable, the 001 remains distinctly recognisable: long, low, muscular and aerodynamic. The shooting brake shape combines elegance with functionality, and the new technological details (sensors, lidar module, high-definition cameras) are seamlessly integrated without detracting from the clean look.
The new 001 feels both more refined and more muscular. Zeekr wanted an EV that is not only fast but also feels as if every movement is under tension. And it succeeds.
Performance: faster than ever, sharper than ever
The Zeekr 001 was already known for its impressive acceleration, but the new model takes that to another level. Thanks to the new silicon carbide motors it now sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, half a second quicker than its predecessor. That is hypercar territory, but in a practical five-seater.
The driving character was refined with the help of Zhou Guanyu, China's first F1 driver and, since this model, official "Chief Motorist". His feedback produced a sharper throttle response, better balance and a dynamism you rarely find in this class.
800 V and a new battery generation: charging faster than you can drink a coffee
The switch to an improved 800 V system makes the 001 more efficient and above all faster in everything to do with energy. With CATL's latest battery platforms you get two spectacular variants:

That places the 001 at the absolute top in charging performance and real-world usability.
Autonomous intelligence: a step towards a Level 3 experience
The new 001 is equipped with extensive sensor fusion: lidar plus millimetre-wave radar plus HD cameras together provide an ADAS suite with multiple levels of redundancy. The system was developed together with Mobileye and now supports:

The car navigates autonomously through motorway on-ramps, lane choices, overtaking manoeuvres and exits, as if you had a co-pilot on board.
Digital cockpit: KR AI, 8295 chip and interactions that feel almost "human"
Inside, everything revolves around Zeekr's new KR AI platform, driven by Qualcomm's ultra-fast 8295 cockpit chip. The system responds faster, thinks along and recognises context. Voice interaction has been expanded, but there is also something new: eye control, with which the car responds to where you are looking, a unique function that feels futuristic but is remarkably intuitive.
