BYD SEAL 6 DM-i Touring

The BYD SEAL 6 DM-i Touring lifts the same Super Hybrid technology to a higher level of space and flexibility. As BYD's first estate car in Europe, this model combines the comfort and efficiency of the Sedan with unrivalled load capacity and family-friendly usability. It is an ideal choice for active families, professionals and anyone who needs space without giving up the pleasure of electric driving.

With a boot of 500 litres, expandable to an impressive 1,535 litres, the SEAL 6 DM-i Touring is among the roomiest models in its class. Thanks to the flat load floor, electrically operated tailgate and standard roof rails it is perfectly suited to holidays, sporting activities or intensive daily use. Despite this practical focus the Touring remains aerodynamically very efficient, with a drag coefficient of just 0.280, exceptionally low for an estate.

Here too, Super Hybrid with DM technology takes centre stage. In city traffic and on daily commutes the SEAL 6 DM-i Touring drives largely fully electric, with up to 100 to 105 km of pure electric range (WLTP, depending on the version). For longer trips the hybrid system delivers a total range of around 1,350 km, without charging stress or dependence on fast-charging infrastructure. That makes this Touring particularly suitable for anyone who often covers long distances yet wants to drive electric as much as possible.

The driving experience is remarkably refined. The electric motor provides immediate response and silence, while the chassis is tuned for comfort and stability, even when fully loaded. Acceleration is smooth and controlled, with enough in reserve for brisk overtaking. Like the Sedan, the Touring reaches a top speed of 180 km/h, so it keeps up effortlessly on European motorways.

The interior of the SEAL 6 DM-i Touring is spacious, bright and practically laid out. Rear passengers enjoy a completely flat floor and generous legroom, while the panoramic glass roof (depending on the version) bathes the cabin in natural light. Up front, the large infotainment screen, the digital instruments and smart connectivity features such as wireless charging and multiple USB-C ports dominate. Thanks to Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) the Touring can power external devices up to 3.3 kW, ideal for travelling, camping or professional use.

On safety, the SEAL 6 DM-i Touring leaves nothing out either. The model is equipped with a comprehensive package of active and passive safety systems, including multiple airbags, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic detection and autonomous emergency braking. That makes it a reliable companion for the whole family.
