There is something wonderfully absurd about an SUV that once held the Nurburgring lap record for its class, and the RS Q8 Performance leans right into it. A twin-turbo V8, over 600 hp and the ability to embarrass sports cars while carrying five people and their luggage: that is exactly my kind of nonsense. It drinks fuel and weighs a tonne, but nobody buys this for sensible reasons. Get it if you want the maddest, fastest thing in the Q8 range and refuse to apologise for it.
