Rob's Advice

The Spring is the cheapest way into a new electric car in Europe, and it does not pretend to be anything more. Around town it is light, easy to park and absurdly cheap to run, with a 24.3 kWh battery good for roughly 225 km. The trade-off is an honest one: 75 or 100 hp means motorway work is slow and noisy, and the cabin is basic. Buy it as a second car or a city commuter and it makes brilliant sense, but as your only car the short range will wear thin.
