Rob's Advice

Buy this one if a charger at home is not realistic. The B10 REEV always drives on its electric motor and carries a small petrol generator that tops the battery back up, which is how it reaches a combined WLTP figure of roughly 900 km without you ever planning a route around chargers. In Germany it asks about 2,500 euros more than the battery-only B10 BEV at 32,400 euros, while UK buyers pay the same 31,495 pounds either way, so the premium depends entirely on where you sign. The compromise arrives once the battery runs low: the generator is small, motorway economy tails off, and you end up running a petrol engine in a car you bought as an electric one, so charge it nightly or the sums stop working.
