Rob's Advice

Going electric hasn't cost the Cooper its sense of humour, which is the best thing I can say about the Cooper Electric. Instant torque plays perfectly into MINI's darty, go-kart feel, making it a genuinely fun city car that also happens to be quiet and cheap to run day to day. The honest catch is range, since this is a car happiest on shorter trips and local roads rather than long motorway hauls, and it asks a premium over the petrol Cooper. If your driving is mostly urban and you want smiles with zero tailpipe emissions, it's an easy one to recommend.
