15/12/2025

The Brussels Motor Show 2026 promises to be one of the most impressive editions in years, and Mercedes-Benz is firmly taking the lead. From brand-new electric models to radical performance concepts and an iconic look back at 140 years of car history: the stand in the Patio is this year’s absolute centrepiece for fans of technology, design and performance.

New Mercedes-Benz GLB: world premiere in Brussels

The GLB makes its world debut on Belgian soil, and Mercedes-Benz sets the bar high straight away.
The all-new electric GLB is positioned as the electric all-rounder for families and adventurers:

  • Room for 5 to 7 seats

  • Towing capacity up to 2 tonnes

  • Range up to 631 km (WLTP)

  • 800V architecture for ultra-fast charging

  • MBUX Superscreen

The result is an SUV that is not only stronger, more modern and more efficient than its predecessor, but also ready to be one of the most versatile electric family SUVs of 2026.

New CLA Shooting Brake: elegance, sportiness and electric efficiency

Mercedes-Benz also presents the first fully electric Shooting Brake in its history.
The new CLA Shooting Brake combines the classic proportions of a sports coupé with stunningly modern technology:

  • Up to 761 km of electric range

  • Panoramic roof with an illuminated starlit sky

  • Ultra-fast charging: up to 310 km in 10 minutes

A model that not only redefines the Shooting Brake, but also shows that style can go hand in hand with everyday usability and top efficiency.

New electric GLC: the best-selling Mercedes goes fully electric

The GLC remains one of the icons in the range and now steps into its electric era. The new generation GLC Electric brings a remarkable balance of luxury, performance and technology:

  • Up to 713 km of range (WLTP)

  • MB.OS supercomputer for AI-driven operation

  • MBUX Hyperscreen of 99.3 cm

  • Optional vegan interior

  • Towing capacity up to 2.4 tonnes

  • 800V system with ultra-fast and bidirectional charging

With this upgrade, the GLC Electric moves straight to the top of the midsize premium segment.

Record-breaker: Mercedes-AMG Concept GT XX

The AMG GT XX is without doubt one of the absolute stars of Brussels 2026.
A concept car that not only demonstrates extreme performance, but actually shatters records:

  • 5,479 km in 24 hours

  • 40,075 km in 7 days, equal to the circumference of the Earth

  • Axial flux motors good for 1,360 hp

  • Liquid-cooled battery for extreme durability

  • Charging at an average of 850 kW, with peaks above 1,000 kW

This technology forms the basis of the AMG.EA high-performance architecture, which goes into production next year.
The GT XX shows how electric driving can be not only efficient, but downright spectacular.

Dreamcars: the best of Mercedes-AMG and Maybach

Mercedes-Benz brings an exceptional selection of Dreamcars, each an icon in its segment:

  • Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed
A radically open sports car with no roof or windscreen, inspired by F1. Limited to 250 units.

  • Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series
The sportiest Maybach model ever, with a hand-painted monogram and crystal-white nappa leather.

  • Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+
612 hp, active aerodynamics, pure track focus.

In addition, the AMG CLE 53, G 580 EQ and AMG E 53 4MATIC+ are also in the spotlight, a showcase of power, innovation and exclusivity.

140 years of innovation and 100 years of Mercedes-Benz in Belgium

2026 is a historic year for Mercedes-Benz. The stand opens with a special piece of heritage: the Benz Patent-Motorwagen, a tribute to 140 years of automotive innovation and 100 years of Mercedes-Benz in Belgium.

The 1926 merger of Daimler and Benz united not only two pioneers, but also their iconic symbols: the three-pointed star and the laurel wreath. The result was a brand that became synonymous worldwide with quality, prestige and technological progress.
