Fiat Grande Panda

Back to basics with a new engine and a new entry-level version

18/11/2025

Fiat takes a new step in the evolution of the Grande Panda. After the mild-hybrid and fully electric variants, there is now a classic petrol version, and a new entry-level trim: the Pop.

Back to basics, but modern

The Grande Panda was already available in the Netherlands as a mild hybrid (1.2 three-cylinder, 110 hp with electric assistance) and as the fully electric Grande Panda Electric (113 hp). Fiat now adds the Grande Panda Petrol: a 100 hp, 205 Nm turbocharged three-cylinder, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. Simple, reliable and without electric assistance, just as a small city car should be.

The aim is clear: a compact, affordable city car you can simply start and drive, without extra complications.

Entry-level Pop: everything you need

The Pop trim is the true entry point. Do not expect any frills, but it has everything you need:

  • 16-inch steel wheels

  • Air conditioning

  • 10-inch digital instrument cluster

  • Rear parking sensors

  • Light sensor

For those who want a little extra: the Icon and La Prima offer more luxury, from a better finish to extra assistance systems.

Pricing strategy: cheaper than the mild hybrid

At a price of €16,990 for the Pop trim, the Grande Panda Petrol is €1,750 cheaper than the mild-hybrid entry version. There is now a Pop trim for the hybrid and electric models too: mild hybrid from €25,999, Electric from €22,990.

Conclusion: simplicity as strength

With the Grande Panda Petrol, Fiat reintroduces the charm of a classic city car: compact dimensions, a clear dashboard and an engine that does exactly what it should. No frills, no extra electronics, just driving.

For anyone looking for an affordable, practical and contemporary city car, the new Grande Panda offers exactly that: a small all-rounder with modern touchpoints, but with a heart that goes back to the essence of driving.
