Alpine A390 Test Drive: Experience Alpine’s Electric Revolution

The future of Alpine is no longer something to wait for. You can now experience it.

The future of Alpine is no longer something to wait for. You can now experience it.

The Alpine A390 is officially available for test drives and this is one of those rare cars that simply cannot be understood on paper. Because this isn’t just another electric car. This is Alpine, reimagined.

Alpine-A390-GT-Alpine-Vision-Blue-Test-Drive

More than electric. Still unmistakably Alpine.

With a completely new architecture and three electric motors, the A390 delivers up to 470 hp and 824 Nm of torque, launching from 0 to 100 km/h in as little as 3.9 seconds But numbers only tell part of the story.

A high-performance 89 kWh battery delivers a range of up to 555 km (WLTP), combined with fast charging up to 190 kW DC On paper, it’s impressive. On the road, it’s something else entirely.

A new kind of driver’s car

What makes the A390 different is not just performance. It’s how it delivers it. Where many electric cars focus purely on straight-line speed, Alpine brings back something that’s becoming rare: driving feel.

A philosophy we already know from the Alpine A110, now translated into a completely new, five-seat sport fastback. And that’s exactly why this matters.

Smaller, more city-friendly and slightly more affordable, but still built on the same advanced Volkswagen Group MEB platform.
