Porsche 911 Toy Story 5 one-offs: Woody, Buzz and Jessie go full Sonderwunsch
10/06/2026
Porsche has just done something very unexpected. And no, these are not simple wrap jobs.
At the red carpet world premiere of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5, Porsche revealed three one-of-one 911 models inspired by Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie. Each car was extensively customised by Porsche’s Sonderwunsch department, the brand’s special request division for deeply personalised cars. All three will be sold as part of a broader charitable initiative supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross and Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Buzz Lightyear becomes a 911 GT3 RS
The most obvious hero car is the 911 GT3 RS inspired by Buzz Lightyear. That makes perfect sense. Buzz is the space ranger. The GT3 RS is the most extreme car of the three. It gets the optional Weissach Package, forged magnesium wheels and the kind of huge rear wing that already looks like it belongs in another universe.
Porsche has painted the car in white, with accents in Green Yellow and Lizard Green, directly referencing Buzz’s suit. The rear wing picks up the theme too, with a white and Fire Red striped lower element, Light Sport Grey struts and wing endplates in matching colours.
The custom centre caps carry a Space Ranger logo created by Pixar production designer Bob Pauley, while the Goodyear tyres have been reworked as “Lightyear” tyres with custom-moulded sidewall lettering. Inside, the Buzz car continues with Pebble Grey leather, Arctic Grey Race-Tex, Violeta leather and Lizard Green details. The door sills illuminate with the line “To Infinity and Beyond”.
Jessie gets the 911 Targa 4 GTS
Jessie is represented by a 2026 Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS with 532 hp. And this may quietly be the most elegant of the trio. Porsche developed a new paint colour called Jessie White Metallic, a pearl white finish created to reference the pearl buttons on Jessie’s western shirt. The front and rear fascia and lower side sections are painted in 944 Cobalt Blue Metallic, while the front lid and rear deck are finished in Atacama Yellow with GTS Red pinstriping.
The Targa roof is red, mimicking Jessie’s hat, complete with light beige piping. Even the “targa” script on the Targa bar has been replaced with “Jessie” in a Porsche-style model designation font.
Inside, the car uses Dark Night Blue, Bordeaux Red and Pebble Grey leather, with denim-look fabric for the seat centres and door panels. There are cowhide-pattern floor mats and illuminated “YEE HAW!” door sills.
Woody becomes a 911 Carrera T
Woody’s car is based on a 2026 Porsche 911 Carrera T. And this one is all about texture. Porsche developed a custom paint finish designed to mimic the patina and natural wear of blue jeans. The denim texture is visible in the paint itself, using Dark Sea Blue, Golf Blue and white tones to create the effect.
Most character-inspired cars rely on obvious colours. This one translates the idea of a toy that has been played with, worn and loved into the material finish of the car. The front fascia and lower rocker panels are painted in Coffee Black, while the front spoiler lip is finished in Aurum. Fire Red graphics on the lower door highlight Woody’s name.
Inside, Porsche uses brown vintage leather for the first time, referencing the worn character of toys that have lived through years of play. It is combined with Dark Night Blue leather, denim-look seat centres, red checkered inserts, cowhide-pattern mats and illuminated “Ride Like the Wind!” door sills.
Charity gives the project more purpose
All three cars will be sold as part of a charitable initiative benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross and Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Without the charitable angle, three Toy Story-themed 911s could easily feel like ultra-expensive collector toys for adults. With it, the project becomes more meaningful: a celebration of a film franchise that shaped generations, turned into real cars, then used to support children, families and communities.
AutoNext Take
This could have gone wrong very easily. A Toy Story Porsche sounds like something that could become childish, gimmicky or painfully overbranded. But Porsche has handled it with more care than expected.
And Porsche has earned the right to play with the 911, especially when the result supports charity and shows what Sonderwunsch can do at the edge of imagination. These cars are not for everyone. They are not supposed to be. They are three rolling pieces of storytelling. And honestly, that feels very Toy Story.
