Zeekr steps onto one of the car world's biggest stages

Zeekr's European charm offensive is stepping up a gear. The Chinese premium electric brand has confirmed it will appear at the Paris Motor Show for the very first time this October, bringing its full European line-up and, intriguingly, promising a significant announcement alongside a look at its next-generation technology.

The full range on show

Running from 12 to 18 October in hall 5.2 of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Zeekr's stand will bring together its entire European product range. That means the fully electric 7X mid-size SUV, the striking 001 shooting brake, the compact X SUV and the brand-new 7GT. It is a chance for European visitors to see the whole line-up in one place, and to get a proper sense of what Zeekr is about.

A teased announcement and new tech

Beyond the existing cars, Zeekr is promising more. The brand says visitors can expect a significant announcement, hinting at a new European premiere within its range, as well as a preview of the technologies it believes will define the next generation of premium electric mobility. Exactly what that announcement will be is being kept under wraps for now, which is precisely why it is worth watching.

France is the target

The choice of Paris is no accident. Zeekr only recently launched in France, and it sees the country as a strategic market for its future growth. This first large-scale public appearance is a chance to build brand awareness and meet potential customers just months after arriving. "Our presence in 2026 is an important milestone in Zeekr's European expansion, in particular in France," said Lothar Schupet, CEO of Zeekr Europe, calling Paris the ideal platform to present both a new European premiere and its future technology.

A giant of a show

Zeekr is joining one of the biggest editions of the show in years. The 91st Paris Motor Show has already attracted more than 60 manufacturers and is expected to welcome over 500,000 visitors across five halls, with 70,000 square metres of indoor space. For a young brand trying to establish itself in Europe, it is about as prominent a stage as you could ask for.

AutoNext Take

Zeekr has quietly become one of the more genuinely desirable Chinese brands arriving in Europe, and showing up at Paris with its full range plus a fresh announcement is a confident, well-timed move. The 001 shooting brake and the new 7GT in particular show a brand with real design ambition, not just another badge chasing volume. Committing to a market as demanding as France signals serious long-term intent.

We are especially curious about that teased announcement and the future technology on display, which should tell us a lot about where Zeekr is heading next. And the good news is you will not have to wonder from afar: we will be in Paris for live reporting, bringing you everything from the Zeekr stand and the rest of the show as it happens. Stay tuned.

Fiat's gorgeous Multiplina Concept reinvents a cult classic as a tiny electric four-seater

Fiat has revealed the Multiplina Concept, a four-seat, two-door electric microcar that reinterprets the beloved 1956 Fiat 600 Multipla, echoing its silhouette, vertical nose and round headlights. Fiat calls it the missing link between a Topolino and a car. Built to L7 heavy-quadricycle rules, it allows a higher top speed of around 88 km/h plus a bigger battery and extended range, on a heavily reworked version of the Topolino platform. It is a concept for now, with a production version reportedly targeted for around 2028.
