Car of the Week: Audi e-tron GT quattro
Some EVs are chosen with a spreadsheet. This one is chosen with your heart, then justified on the spreadsheet afterwards.
This week's Car of the Week is a 2022 Audi e-tron GT quattro, finished in silver over black leather and available at MIG Motors in Aalter with 52,479 km behind it. It shares its platform with the Porsche Taycan, it is one of the most beautiful electric cars Audi has ever built, and the used market has quietly made it tempting. We are not going to pretend we are neutral. We want one.
The Taycan's design, without the Porsche badge tax
Under the skin, the e-tron GT and the Porsche Taycan are close relatives. They share the J1 platform, the 800 volt electrical architecture and a lot of hardware. The difference is the suit they wear. The Audi goes for long, low and clean, with that wide grille-less face and haunches that look poured rather than pressed. We have stood next to both, and to us the Audi is the one that stops you in a car park.
A driving position you sink into, not sit on
Open the door, drop into the seat, and the e-tron GT immediately feels special. You sit low, hugged by the car rather than perched on top of it. The cabin is classic Audi: tight panel gaps, proper materials and a layout that makes sense at a glance instead of burying everything in menus. The black leather interior, the panoramic glass roof and the electrically adjustable, heated front seats make it a place you actively want to spend time.
476 hp that arrives the instant you ask
With 476 hp and quattro all-wheel drive, the e-tron GT does the EV trick of instant, quiet, smooth thrust, but wraps it in proper grand tourer manners. It is quick when you want it and calm when you do not. The 800 volt system also means rapid charging at the right charger, so longer trips ask for far less planning than the early EV years suggested. With around 93 kWh of battery, everyday range is comfortable for the daily commute and the weekend escape alike.

AutoNext Take
We will be honest: this is exactly the kind of car we would spend our own money on. The e-tron GT gives you Taycan engineering, supercar presence and proper Audi comfort, and the second-hand market has turned it into one of the smartest electric buys around. At €58,950 with VAT deductible, a 476 hp Audi that looks like this should not make financial sense, yet here we are.
Faster, flashier EVs exist. Better looking ones, in our opinion, do not. If you have ever wanted a Taycan but not the Porsche price, this silver e-tron GT at MIG Motors is the answer hiding in plain sight.
