Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II revealed with 628 km range
02/06/2026
Rolls-Royce does not do facelifts in the normal sense. Instead, it refines.
That is exactly what has happened with the new Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II, the updated Spectre brings more range, more torque, shorter charging times, a richer Bespoke programme and an even more powerful Black Badge Spectre Series II.
The shape barely changes. But that is the point. When you already have one of the most elegant electric luxury cars in the world, you do not redesign it. You perfect it.
Up to 628 km of electric Rolls-Royce range
Rolls-Royce says the Spectre Series II now reaches up to 628 km WLTP, an increase of up to 18 percent compared with the original model. Charging times have also been reduced by up to 14 percent, thanks to re-engineered battery cell technology.
Most Spectre owners charge almost exclusively at home, according to Rolls-Royce, and many use the car as a personal daily driver rather than a traditional chauffeur-driven object. Average annual mileage is around 6,500 km, but one European client has already covered more than 50,000 km in two years.
More torque, more silence, more effortlessness
The standard Spectre Series II now produces 442 kW and 1,015 Nm of torque. But the real headline belongs to the Black Badge Spectre Series II, which becomes the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever created. In Infinity Mode, it delivers 500 kW, while Spirited Mode unlocks up to 1,100 Nm of torque.
Those numbers are enormous. But in a Rolls-Royce, power is not supposed to feel violent. It is supposed to feel endless. The Spectre’s job is not to chase lap times or win drag races. It is to make acceleration feel silent, immediate and almost inevitable. That is why electrification suits Rolls-Royce so well.
The design stays almost untouched
Rolls-Royce has wisely left the exterior largely unchanged. The Spectre’s fastback profile, clean surfacing and split headlamp signature remain. And they should. This is already one of the most successful modern Rolls-Royce designs: long, elegant, calm and dramatic without becoming vulgar.
For Series II, the changes are in the details. There is a new solid exterior colour called Ethereal Blue, plus a new 23-inch forged alloy wheel with a sharp, faceted multi-spoke design. Each wheel can take up to six hours to hand-finish.
Bespoke becomes even more important
According to the brand, demand for Bespoke commissions on Spectre is surpassed only by Phantom. Some clients request more than 20 individual Bespoke elements in a single car. For Series II, Rolls-Royce expands that world further.
New options include Duality Twill, a bamboo-based rayon fabric inspired by the Côte d’Azur and Sir Henry Royce’s former winter home, Villa Mimosa. A Duality Twill interior can include up to 2.6 million stitches, around 16 km of thread and up to 25 hours of construction.
There is also Placed Perforation leather, where precision-cut perforations form artistic patterns across the seats. One debut design uses 78,138 perforations in three different sizes.
A new interior theatre
Inside, the Spectre Series II gains new interior illumination and more elaborate craftsmanship. The Interior Panel and Clock Gallery now span the full width of the dashboard, joined by a new illuminated fascia with 8,108 individual pixel-like lights arranged in a flowing wave pattern inspired by mist over the South Downs near Goodwood.
There is also a new clock inspired by aviation instruments, housed in a special cabinet with an up-lit Spirit of Ecstasy figurine crafted from solid stainless steel. It sounds theatrical because it is. But that is exactly the kind of theatre Rolls-Royce understands better than almost anyone.
Black Badge gets darker
The Black Badge Spectre Series II receives a more dramatic visual treatment. A new Iced Black Exterior Detailing finish turns much of the exterior brightwork matte, including the grille surround, sideframe finishers, bumper inserts, door handles and Spirit of Ecstasy.
The Pantheon grille vanes remain polished, preserving the car’s identity. There is also a new Black Badge wheel design with an open-spoke structure, a polished outer ring and a subtle sparkle effect from fine glass flakes in the finish.
AutoNext Take
What we like most is that Spectre does not feel like Rolls-Royce trying to follow the EV market. It feels like Rolls-Royce proving that electric power was almost made for its philosophy: silence, effortlessness, presence and absurd reserves of power.
The Black Badge version being the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever is a nice headline. But the real story is deeper. Spectre is becoming the electric Rolls-Royce that clients actually use, personalise and emotionally connect with.
