Offered: Porsche 911 Speedster (2020) in PTS Aetna Blue, 1 of 1.948
12/02/2026
Some 911s are fast. Some 911s are rare. And then there is the 991 Speedster.
A car that brings together everything Porsche still stands for today: naturally aspirated, manual, and developed by Porsche Motorsport in Weissach. This specific 2020 example, with just 11,405 km, is far from a standard configuration. This is a carefully specified Speedster finished in PTS Aetna Blue, a colour delivered on only a handful of cars. Subtle. Deep. Timeless. Exactly as a Speedster should be.
A tribute to 70 years of Porsche
The 991 Speedster was launched to celebrate 70 years of Porsche and production was limited worldwide to exactly 1,948 units, a reference to the year in which the first 356 was approved for public road use.
Beneath the surface, this is pure GT engineering. The 4.0‑liter naturally aspirated flat‑six, taken directly from the GT3, delivers 510 hpand revs beyond 8,000 rpm. Six individual throttle bodies, motorsport‑derived technology and exclusively paired with a manual 6‑speed gearbox. No PDK option. No compromises.
Acceleration to 100 km/h takes around 4 seconds, but that is not what this car is about. It is about mechanical feel. Immediate response. Chassis precision. This is an open 911 designed for drivers, not for statistics.
Lightweight and pure
Porsche Motorsport used carbon fibre for the front wings, bonnet and rear lid. The roof is manually operated, a deliberate choice to save weight and complexity. Compared to a PDK variant, a further 17 kg was saved. Every detail contributes to lower weight and a sharper driving experience.
The signature double‑hump rear deck behind the seats references classic Speedsters of the past, yet everything about this car feels modern, taut and muscular.
An exceptional configuration
While many Speedsters were ordered with the striking Heritage Package, the first Belgian owner opted for class and restraint. Aetna Blue contrasts perfectly with the black soft top, black wheels and dark accents. The result is a Speedster that does not shout for attention, but commands respect.
Inside, the car features a full black leather interior with grey contrast stitching. The 18‑way Adaptive Sport Plus seats offer excellent support during spirited driving, while remaining comfortable on longer journeys. Seat heating, steering wheel heating, front axle lift and Sport Chrono make this Speedster surprisingly usable on a daily basis.
With over €32,000 in options, including Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur details, Bose Surround Sound and a 90‑liter fuel tank, this is a richly specified and exceptionally tasteful example.
Correctly used, perfectly maintained
This Speedster was delivered in January 2020 to its first and only Belgian owner. Not a static collector’s item, but a car that was genuinely driven on Alpine trips and weekend drives. That results in a healthy mileage of 11,405 km today.
Maintained by Porsche Centre Mechelen, with documented services in 2022 and 2024, including a major service. All books, invoices, service history and even the PTS‑painted key are present.
Why this is a relevant purchase
The 991 Speedster is the final Speedster of the fully naturally aspirated GT3 era. In a world increasingly dominated by hybridisation and electrification, this model represents a closing chapter in Porsche’s analogue history.
Limited production, a manual transmission, motorsport DNA and a PTS colour make this not only an emotional purchase, but also a strategically interesting one.
Priced at €335,000, this Speedster is positioned very correctly within the current European market for highly specified examples with low mileage and full history.
But ultimately, you do not buy this car because it makes sense. You buy it because it makes you feel something that modern cars increasingly do not.
Available at Collection by Vermant
This Porsche 991 Speedster is currently available via Collection by Vermant. For those who understand what a manual, naturally aspirated Speedster truly represents, this is one you are unlikely to encounter again.
