The A6 Allroad is my quiet favourite in the whole range, the sort of car clever people buy when they have stopped caring what the neighbours think. Raised suspension and standard quattro mean it will tackle a muddy field or a ski trip without breaking stride, yet it still glides down a motorway like a proper executive estate. It does almost everything an SUV does, but lower, better looking and nicer to drive. Buy it if you want one car for the family, the dog and the long haul.
