The S3 saloon is, for my money, one of the smartest all-rounders Audi makes. It has genuine hot-hatch pace and quattro grip in a compact, understated body that never draws the wrong kind of attention. It is quick enough to satisfy and small enough to enjoy, without the running costs of an RS. Buy it if you want a discreet, quick daily that does absolutely everything.
