The Logan is the cheapest new sedan you can buy in Europe, and it does not pretend otherwise: you get a big boot, simple mechanicals and a 120 hp Eco-G engine that runs on LPG for a fraction of petrol money. Walk in knowing the trade-off is availability, because Dacia sells it in only a handful of European markets and the cabin materials are honest rather than plush. If you want the same running costs in a hatchback that is sold everywhere, the Sandero is the safer buy.
