Ferrari brings the 1,200 hp F80 and its first EV to Zoute
Ferrari is parking a 1,200 hp hypercar and its first electric car in the same Belgian seaside town
Ferrari is bringing two of its most significant current cars to Zoute Grand Prix Car Week 2026 in Knokke-Heist. The 1,200 hp F80 hypercar takes pride of place on the public stand across all five days, and a smaller group of invited guests will get the first close look at the Ferrari Luce, the marque's first fully electric car.
It is the first time Ferrari has shown its debut EV in Belgium, and pairing it with the F80 puts the brand's past and future side by side on the coast.
The F80 is the headline on the stand
The F80 is Ferrari's newest hypercar, and it draws its technology and aerodynamics straight from the Formula 1 programme and the Le Mans-winning 499P. Its 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 works with an electric drivetrain for a combined 1,200 hp, enough to fire the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.15 seconds. Ferrari is building just 799 of them, and the F80 becomes the sixth entry in the bloodline collectors call the Big Five, after the 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo and LaFerrari. It will be on the Ferrari stand in the Zoute Gallery by EY for the full duration of the event.
The Luce is the one you have to ask to see
The Ferrari Luce, revealed earlier as Maranello's first fully electric car, gets a far more guarded introduction. Ferrari is showing it to a select group of guests at a location in Knokke-Heist that it is keeping secret for now. Anyone hoping to see it in person has to go through one of the three official Belgian Ferrari dealers, FMA, FMB or Monza.
A statement of intent for Zoute
Landing both cars confirms the international pull Zoute Grand Prix Car Week has built. Over five days, Knokke-Heist gathers iconic classics, technical premieres and the newest dream cars, and Ferrari choosing the event for the Luce's first Belgian outing gives the 2026 edition real weight.
AutoNext Take
Ferrari could hardly have found a neater way to tell its own story. The F80 is a 1,200 hp send-off for the combustion-era flagship, the sixth car in a line that reaches back to the 288 GTO and one of only 799 built. The Luce is the car meant to prove Ferrari can go fully electric without losing what makes a Ferrari feel like one. Having both in Knokke-Heist at the same time lets Belgian enthusiasts weigh that shift up for themselves, in the metal.
The telling detail is the secrecy around the Luce. You can walk up to the F80 on an open stand for five days, yet the electric car sits at an undisclosed address and shows itself only to those who ask a dealer first. Ferrari plainly still wants its first EV to arrive as an event rather than an announcement.
