Dodge starts European deliveries of the Charger this month, in petrol Sixpack and electric Daytona form, from €66,187 in Belgium, €65,093 in Germany and £62,688 in the UK. Neither Dodge nor its importer has published a WLTP range for the Daytona; the 418 and 510 km figures in circulation are EPA numbers. In the US, the electric Charger sold 534 cars in the first half of 2026.

Lando Norris has been filmed driving his Ferrari F40 in London, the car a friend crashed near Monaco in January 2025 while he was away. He took delivery in late 2024 and said in May 2025 the repair was not finished. The sighting comes weeks after Lewis Hamilton bought an F40 of his own, and a month after a 72-mile F40 sold for $8.4 million.

Alfa Romeo will unveil a concept car at the Paris Motor Show on 12 October at 10:55 CEST and calls it a manifesto for its future. The release names Italy, sportiness and the colour red, and nothing else. It lands in a plan that keeps Giulia and Stelvio only through 2027, premieres a C-SUV in late 2027 and lists one few-off, after a 2025 of just over 73,000 sales.

Maserati is the celebrated marque of the Goodwood Revival from 18 to 20 September, a century after the Tipo 26's class win at the 1926 Targa Florio. More than 50 pre-1966 Maseratis race, the Lavant Cup returns as a Ferrari-versus-Maserati 'Battle of Modena', and Maserati's display is three cars from the Panini Collection. Off the track, Stellantis' accounts show Maserati shipped 7,900 cars in 2025 at a €198 million loss.

Bolt aims to put at least 25,000 driverless Lucid cars on European streets, built on Lucid's Midsize platform with NVIDIA Hyperion and owned by Bolt. It is a memorandum, not an order, with a first batch pencilled for 2028. Lucid now has 60,000 robotaxis promised between Uber and Bolt against 18,378 cars built in 2025, and on the same day Volkswagen's MOIA failed to find an investor.

Volvo is turning Volvo Car Gent into a contract plant open to other brands, Geely-owned or not, alongside Chengdu in China. The decision sits inside a strategy update that promises 13 new cars by 2030, an EBIT margin above 8 percent and 30 percent parts commonality with Geely, while Volvo concedes that its European capacity will exceed sales once Košice starts in 2027.

Italian coachbuilder Riverti Automobili is teasing a new car that appears to take the current BMW M2 (G87) and restyle it as a homage to the legendary 1970s BMW 3.0 CSL. Details are very scarce, with only a “coming soon” website and a hillclimb sighting to go on, so this is a teaser rather than a full reveal, but the ingredients alone are enough to intrigue.

Mercedes has opened orders for the C 300 4MATIC, the second all-wheel-drive version of the electric C-Class: 422 hp, an 85 kWh battery, 690 km WLTP and 320 kW charging. It lists at €62,951 in Germany, €59,895 in Belgium and €58,736 in the Netherlands. The premium over the petrol C 200 ranges from €14,107 to €1,097, and the rear-drive entry model still has no price.

Geely has started building the EX5 EM-i plug-in hybrid at Renault's Ayrton Senna plant in Brazil, the first car of a new R$2 billion investment cycle that also brings the EX2 hatch to the line in December. Brazil's import duty on electrified cars rose to a flat 35 percent in July. Renault's first car on Geely's GEA platform is due from the same plant in 2027.
